The big cities add their own registrations.

Lead times run four to eight weeks on custom sizes, and Ohio's deposit rule shapes how a window company gets paid while it waits. On a contract over $25,000, the down payment is capped at ten percent, with an exception for special-order items that cannot be returned. Custom windows are the textbook special order, so the contract needs to say which part of the deposit is which.
