Siding Contractor Software in New Mexico

Siding jobs don't fit neatly in generic contractor software. You've got full wraps, partial replacements, color matching trim, and HOAs that take three weeks to approve a sample. ExteriorPro lets you bid by square footage, track what material's going on what elevation, keep the approval paperwork attached to the project, and hand the crew a clean scope on install day. No more rebuilding the estimate from memory because the customer changed the J-channel color.

Whether it's a full wrap in New Mexico suburbs or a partial replacement after hail, ExteriorPro keeps the scope, the material by elevation, and the install week on one screen.

From $199/month per location. No credit card required to start.

New Mexico's siding is stucco, and the trade is stucco. The pueblo-style house in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Las Cruces is a frame or block wall under three-coat stucco or a synthetic system. The sun at 5,000 feet does the damage: hairline cracks at every corner, chalking, and the caulk at every window that cooks and lets the monsoon rain in behind. Where siding goes on, in the Northeast Heights and the Rio Rancho tracts, it is fiber cement, because it takes the ultraviolet and the wind. In the mountain towns, in Ruidoso, Taos, and Angel Fire, it is wood and fiber cement under real snow. Vinyl has a hard time in the sun and the wind. The spring wind comes across the mesa at 60 miles an hour and finds every loose panel.

Fire puts siding on claims in the mountains. The Hermits Peak and Calf Canyon fire of 2022 burned 341,471 acres and at least 903 structures, the largest fire in the state's history. The South Fork and Salt fires of June 2024 destroyed more than 1,400 structures in Ruidoso and killed two people. The rebuild in both places leans to stucco and fiber cement with nothing that burns at the ground. Hail does the rest, with two and a half inch stones on northwest Albuquerque in June 2024. New Mexico has no deductible statute of its own, so siding on a claim runs on the general rules. A sale made in the home can be cancelled until midnight of the third business day, with the money back within 10 business days.

New Mexico licenses every contractor through the Construction Industries Division, except an individual doing casual work for no more than $7,200 a year who files a declaration saying so. A siding company holds a specialty license or the GB-2 residential license, after a trade exam, a business and law exam, two years of foreman-level experience, and a $10,000 bond. There is no state contract law for a residential job, so the contract is whatever the company writes.

The 2021 New Mexico Residential Building Code has applied statewide since December 14, 2023, and the local building department inspects a re-side in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Las Cruces. The median New Mexico house dates from 1985, and about four in a hundred date from before 1940. Those are the adobe and the brick of Santa Fe's old neighborhoods, Las Vegas, and Silver City, which is a trade of its own. The growth is in Los Lunas, the fastest-growing city in the state, in Rio Rancho, and in Las Cruces, and the season runs all year in the south.

Every trade, one price

Roofing, siding, windows, and gutters are all included at one price per location — so a crew that adds a second trade doesn't change what they pay.
