Leap alternative

A Leap alternative without the one-year contract

Leap sells its plans as one-year contracts, and its Team plan charges for each user past the first. ExteriorPro is month to month, includes every user, and has nothing to set up.

About Leap

Leap sells two products to residential home improvement contractors. Leap CRM, formerly JobProgress, runs leads, estimates, production and invoicing. Leap SalesPro is an iPad app for the in-home appointment, from the estimate to the signature. Leap is based in Columbia, Maryland, and Nexa Equity took a majority stake in it in 2021.

Why contractors pick ExteriorPro instead

No fee for each user

Every user is included. On Leap's Team plan each user past the first adds $99 a month, so a crew of eight pays for seven extra seats.

Leave when you like

ExteriorPro is month to month, and you cancel from your settings. Leap's plans are one-year contracts that renew unless you give 60 days' notice.

Nothing held back by plan

Invoicing, proposals and the customer's job page come with both prices. Leap's $79 Essential plan leaves out invoicing, payments, automations and integrations.

Switching from Leap

How the move works

Questions contractors ask

How much does Leap cost?

Leap publishes its starting prices. Leap CRM Essential is $79 a month for one user, Team starts at $298 a month plus $99 for each extra user, and SalesPro starts at $750 a month. Its plans are one-year contracts paid monthly. ExteriorPro is $199 or $349 a month by company size, month to month, with every user included.

What's the difference between Leap CRM and SalesPro?

Leap CRM runs the job from lead to invoice. SalesPro is Leap's iPad app for the in-home appointment: the estimate, financing, contract and signature. Leap sells them separately or together.

Can I move my data from Leap to ExteriorPro?

Usually, yes. Show us your export on a call and we'll move what we can across for free. Leap's license gives you 10 days to export your data after your account ends, so take your export before you cancel.
